While I'm sitting in the ''laverie'' not far from my home on this beautiful and warm day in Paris where people wearing light jackets,"frenchy"sweaters, already eating ice creams, riding bikes and taking long walks to the park with the whole family. I just sit here waiting, thinking that I should get connected with you my dear readers. Hi mom :D ! I love the moments like this, very peaceful when you can actually relax and hear your own thoughts, when almost nothing can distract you. I want to use this time to share how blow minded I was at ANREALAGE "LIGHT" defile on Tuesday March 4!
Before I got into a bus from Dévastée show it was raining so bad, that all people were running like crazy to get in, the same as me, almost breaking my legs wearing high heels and a long black dress. It nearly took us 15 min to got to a destination. Walking to the building I saw people smiling because as we arrived there, the rain was over and the sun was out, photographs were taking pictures, everybody rushing to get in and take the seat. Before this day I never heard about this avant-garde Japanese brand but after this show I fell in love.
As soon as I entered and saw a big place covered with white background, black floor and with many different light projectors. People were seated, lights were shout down, everybody stopped talking. Soon the model comes out all covered in black from head to toe, with just one white circle on the jacket , on which was falling all of the light from the projector. In background you couldn't miss the loud noise spreading all over the place. For me this was representing Japan in the most fashionable and creative way. At this moment I almost got breathless. I was so impressed... Gosh, I was thinking this is genius. The models were so gracefully and slowly walking to show us all the greatness of the designers work! Everybody was taking videos, photos and writing some notes.
When the show was over, I couldn't even speak with my new friend that I met on the show, the nicest young women who work for the Swiss magazine. She was speechless and impressed as I was. We just said to each other " sorry but I'm really speechless, because this was the best show so far" saying our goodbyes I knew that this day we made some great memories...
